About Me
My name is Dale Robinson. I’m a photographer working primarily in headshots, portraits, landscapes, and street photography.
How I got here
My introduction to photography started with an old Ricoh rangefinder camera that belonged to my father. As a young teenager, I became fascinated with capturing moments wherever I could find them. At the time, film was the only option, and I quickly found myself experimenting with black-and-white processing and building my own darkroom setup. That early hands-on experience shaped how I still approach photography today — with patience, curiosity, and respect for the craft.
Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to learn from many talented teachers and photographers who helped me refine both my technical skills and my way of seeing. I’ve worked across a wide range of photographic disciplines, including portraits, headshots, sports, schools, events, cityscapes, scenic work, and street photography.
At the heart of it all, my work has naturally settled into portrait, landscape, and street photography — areas where observation, connection, and timing matter most.
Approach & Equipment
I’ve worked with Nikon cameras and lenses for many years and now shoot with DSLR and modern mirrorless systems. I work entirely digitally and maintain a complete studio lighting setup that can be easily configured in-studio or on location, depending on the needs of the session.
Physical Media and Prints
For clients interested in physical artwork, I offer in-house fine art printing, allowing me to maintain control over quality from capture to final print. Custom sizes and special orders are available, along with framed and unframed prints, canvas, matted, and mounted options upon request. Please see the print pricing page or contact me for current pricing and availability.
